R Reports - New Zealand company Fonterra, the world's largest dairy exporter, said bacteria has been found in some of its products that could cause botulism.
The company said it had sold contaminated whey protein concentrate to customers in Australia, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia for use in a range of products including infant milk power.
China has recalled all products that may have been contaminated by the bacteria.
The Fonterra case was caused by an unsanitary pipe at one of the company's processing plants.
