ANTALYA, TURKEY (FEBRUARY 21, 2012) (AKDENIZ HOSPITAL HANDOUT - Ugur Acar, who underwent Turkey's first facial transplant surgery, revealed his new look before the cameras on Tuesday (February 21).

The 19-year-old recipient had face transplant a month ago and said he was dreaming of getting married after the surgery.

Turkish doctors successfully transplanted tissue from the face of a 45-year-old donor to Acar.

"I thank the family of the donor a lot. I can't say more at the moment, but tomorrow I will make a press statement along with my doctors," he said as he posed for the media.

Doctors said they were planning to discharge Acar from hospital soon.
